It takes all sorts

The manor requires constant care in all sorts of different ways, demanding the expertise, skills, effort, and sometimes money of many very different people and organisations, loosely grouped into trustees, volunteers and supporters.

Our trustees bring a combination of business and communications skills, academic rigour, local influence and deep resources of drive and enthusiasm.

Every era is covered

Volunteers help with day to day running and maintenance, research and catalog the manor’s history, run guided tours and much more.

Supporters include the University of Portsmouth, who collaborate with the manor to raise its profile by using it as the subject and base for a wide range of study from architecture to film production.

Our commercial partners include Dark Encounters, who invite the brave to paranormal guided tours and theatre experiences at the Manor.

It takes all sorts of people to keep Wymering Manor going, and to help drive our project towards a sustainable, community-focused future. Could one of them be you?
